Dana Hess brings over two years of real estate experience and more than 16 years of public service to clients across Central Ohio. A retired Sergeant with the Columbus Division of Police, she draws on her background in leadership, communication, and Ohio law to guide buyers and sellers with confidence and integrity.
Dana holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation, the At Home with Diversity certification, and has been recognized with the 2023 Columbus Board of Realtors Scholarship and the 2024 Columbus Realtors President’s Merit Award. Known for her strong relationships, attention to detail, and client-first mindset, she especially loves helping first-time homebuyers navigate the process with ease.
A lifelong Central Ohio resident, Dana graduated from Westerville North High School and Franklin University before raising her three children in Plain City. Her extensive community knowledge comes not only from living and working in the area, but also from the connections built throughout her law enforcement career and nonprofit leadership.
Beyond real estate, Dana is the former National President of The S.O.A.P. Project, an anti–human trafficking nonprofit, and continues to support survivors through The Freeman Project. Inspired by her family’s success in the industry, she chose real estate as a way to continue serving her community—helping people find stability, connection, and a place to call home.
